REGULATION, RISK AND PARTNER TRAINING

Our Regulatory Unit provides training on a range of risk and regulatory issues. These sessions can be in-person, virtual-live training or pre-recorded. We specialise especially in bespoke training tailored to individual business, cross-referring to that business’ specific policies, systems and processes.

We often provide regulatory training alongside our partnership and employment law partners, enabling us to integrate partnership law, discrimination and regulatory issues into practical and interactive training sessions. We find that law firms especially value receiving training from partners who advise on issues arising in firms on a day to day basis.

Examples of our training include:

  • Training partners of law firms on the SRA Standards around toxic workplace culture and, in particular, the duty to challenge poor behaviours.
  • Training to individuals who have been identified (e.g. following an investigation) as in need of additional training on particular issues, such as personal conduct.
  • Training GC and in-house counsel on their SRA regulatory obligations on new regulatory developments, and as part of their continuing competence.
  • Training HR heads and their teams on the interaction between HR and regulatory issues.
  • Training on specific market or sector knowledge for business teams, such as LLP law and the operation of law firms.

For more information or to discuss the training we can provide for your organisation/partners, please contact partners Andrew Pavlovic and Beth Hale.
