We are delighted to announce that Peter Jackson – former Managing Partner and CEO of Hill Dickinson – has joined us as a Strategic Adviser and Consultant.
Peter brings almost two decades of senior leadership experience at one of the UK’s best-known independent law firms. Having joined Hill Dickinson in 1983, he became managing partner in 2005 and then CEO when the role was created in 2016, before stepping down at the end of April 2024 and retiring from the partnership in April 2026. Since stepping down as CEO, Peter has pursued a portfolio career and will remain as a NED with Hill Dickinson, while continuing to advise and mentor firms and individuals in the professional services sector. He also continues to lecture on management issues and host Hill Dickinson’s 3:AM Conversations podcast.
Peter will focus on supporting our strategic growth and market impact as a Tier 1 adviser to professional services clients – including international and UK law firms – across the full spectrum of partnership structuring, governance, remuneration and sensitive risk-led partnership investigations and disputes, alongside the firm’s market-leading employment and regulatory capability.

Our specialist team of 24 lawyers and legal professionals, based in the City, advises law firms and professional services businesses on partnership and LLP structuring, mergers, governance, partner remuneration, investigations, partner exits and high-stakes disputes, as well as the full range of related employment and restrictive covenant issues.
