Partner Performance and Accountability in the AI-Enabled Firm – Leadership Circle with Lexington Consultants – 4 October – 9am-11.30am in Copenhagen

We are pleased to invite you to join us in Copenhagen, during the IBA Annual Conference, for a Leadership Circle hosted by CM Murray LLP in collaboration with Lexington Consultants.

The discussion will focus on one of the most pressing leadership questions facing professional services firms:

Partner Performance and Accountability in the AI-Enabled Firm
In a profession built on trust, collegiality and shared ownership, law firm leaders are increasingly having to confront difficult and often uncomfortable questions. If AI is reshaping how value is created, what does that mean for firm structure and leverage? Who becomes – and stays – a partner? How are partners measured, and how do firms make and defend difficult performance decisions? Does the firm have a flexible business structure and the governance and succession in place to evolve at pace to rise to these challenges?

This session will explore how firms can preserve the values that have traditionally underpinned professional partnerships while adapting to a more demanding, data-driven and evidence-based environment. At the same time, the discussion will recognise that leadership increasingly requires firms to step beyond that traditional comfort zone: to challenge established assumptions, to take more difficult and earlier decisions, and to address issues that are often easier to defer than confront.

The session will be highly interactive and held under the Chatham House Rule, with a focus on candid exchange and practical insight. To support this, the discussion will be structured around a case study designed to stimulate debate and practical problem-solving, enabling participants to test how these issues play out in real-world leadership scenarios.
